Important Information Regarding Order, Price, Payment & Refunds
You are able to place orders one of three ways; via email, phone, or in person consultation. Email orders must be confirmed by us before your rendering payment. All orders that are excepted to be filled in 14 days or less full payment is required when placing order. Orders for 14 days and beyond require a 50% deposit this confirms your date when placing your order. If you for whatever reason cancel your order 30 days before your confirmed date you will be fully refunded your deposit. Should you cancel after that time your deposit will not be refunded. Also please note any order placed 5 days before event is considered a LAST MINUTE ORDER and may be subject to an up charge depending on design. We apologize for any inconvenience but we do not except EBT benefits, foodstamps or SNAP. Also please note that we are closed on Sundays should you need a cake for Sunday it need to be picked up on Saturday. If you require delivery on Sunday (Large, Company, Wedding Events Only) there will be an additional fee applied.
Once a client receives a quote on the cake of choice should that client decide to make changes add on additional items it will increase the price, no exceptions. We are fair in working with budgets as the economy has challenged this nation, however should a client have a budget but want extensive work done beyond that budget it will not be honored, no exceptions.
All orders for cakes must be placed at least two weeks in advance as we book our calendar relatively quick. You are welcomed to inquire regarding availability for orders placed under the two week notice, if we are not booked we may be able to accommodate your order. Please also keep in mind if you are ordering a toy kit or edible image on your cake it is necessary to order as early as possible as these items I may need to order and could be a back order products.
Also when inquiring about an order please provide the following to help assist us with your order:
1. Type of event. ie: Birthday, Anniversary, Shower.
2. Number of guests you will need to serve.
3. Event date and time.
4. What flavor of cake and icing you would like.
5. Any particulars to design. If you have pictures feel free to forward them over. We are able to recreate most designs.
6. Do you require delivery.
We will respond to all inquiries within 48 hours. If you require a response sooner, please send us an email via our contact page.
We must ask that orders for Wedding and Special Occasion cakes be placed at least one month in advance. We are currently booking approximately one year in advance for weddings, so please call to schedule a tasting consultation as soon as possible to ensure we can get your event into our calendar.( Tasting Consults are for weddings only) Reception dates are confirmed with a deposit of 50%. The remainder is due no later than 30 days prior to the confirmed date. If you have not made your final payment 30 days prior and have not made prior arrangements your cake will be removed from our calendar unless you notify to make arrangements.
Tasting consultations are available for the bride and groom, a $25 sitting fee is required. All of the samples for your tasting are baked fresh for your appointment. We are able to provide standard flavors for your tasting consultation. If a specialty flavor is requested an additional fee may be required. If you can’t make your scheduled appointment, please call as soon as possible to reschedule.

When it comes to design, the sky is the limit. Some designs can be achieved best using buttercream icing. Other designs can be achieved best with fondant. Even if you do start with a picture of a cake from a magazine or cake design book, we can modify the design to make it your own. You shouldn’t see your cake at another wedding. We make every effort to design a unique cake that fits your desires, style and budget.
There are a number of variables that factor into pricing. The size, design and type of cake all play a big part in determining the cost. Within reason, most cakes can be custom made to accommodate any number of guests.
You’re welcome to pick up your cake free of charge, but we do offer a basic delivery service for cakes that do not require elaborate on site assembly. Virginia Beach Area: $30.00 delivery with a minimum purchase of $80.00. Norfolk Area: $35.00 delivery with a minimum purchase of $120.00. Chesapeake Area: $35.00 delivery with a minimum purchase of $120.00 . Outside these areas call for delivery pricing, but minimum purchase is $150.00.
We accept credit card deposits and payments via Square, we also accept cash. We do not except checks.
Despite what you see on TV, complex cakes such as multi-tiered wedding cakes are mostly assembled on site. Price included in contract. Final payments for wedding cakes and custom cakes are due no later than 30 days prior to the confirmed date. If you have not made your final payment 30 days prior and have not made prior arrangements your cake will be removed from the calendar.
